Shandong Nahai Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. recently announced that its corrugated denitration catalyst has completed 24,000 hours (approximately 2.7 years) of continuous operation in a sintering flue gas treatment project at a steel plant. Operational data indicate that the catalyst maintains stable performance with a denitration efficiency consistently above 85%, while NOx emissions remain in full compliance with national standards.
It is reported that the corrugated catalyst adopts a specialized structural design that optimizes flue gas distribution, reducing system resistance without compromising denitration efficiency. The TiO₂-based substrate and specially formulated active components demonstrate high stability in the challenging environment of steel sintering flue gas.
The project operator reported that the catalyst exhibits excellent adaptability in practical application, with stable system performance and low maintenance requirements. Similar products have already been deployed in multiple industrial flue gas treatment projects across sectors including steel and cement.
Industry experts emphasize that the long-term stable operation of denitration catalysts is crucial for industrial enterprises to achieve consistent compliance with emission standards. This 24,000-hour operational milestone provides valuable performance validation for comparable products. With ongoing technological advancements, the industrial flue gas treatment sector is expected to benefit from an increasing number of feasible solutions in the future.
